Each year, Heartland Community Church hosts a missions conference and welcomes pastors, missionaries, and friends from around the world.  Join us for these corporate services, or log in via live stream to hear special music and guest speakers.

Our theme this year is “Ever Faithful.” Hebrews 10:23 exhorts: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful…” He has been faithful, He is faithful today, and He will be faithful forever.

Missions Conference 2017

Each year, Heartland Community Church hosts a missions conference and welcomes pastors, missionaries, and friends from around the world. As our guests come from across the U.S., Brazil, the Philippines, Haiti, Tanzania, Egypt, Moldova, Mexico, Israel, and other nations, they share about what is happening in their lives and ministries. Meetings are held at the Heartland Christian Academy, 101 Nations Boulevard.

Our theme this year is “Hope of the World” from Psalm 65:5 “You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.”   

You are welcome to join us during these sessions as we worship our Father. Sunday, March 1th 9:30am and 6pm; Monday thru Wednesday 6:30pm.

You are invited to our annual Missions Conference, March 6-9, 2016.

Each year we invite friends from around the globe to come and be refreshed, and share what God is doing in their part of the world. Our conference theme this year centers around Isaiah’s vision of the Lord, and his response to God’s call… “I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called out to another and said, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory.”

…Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!” – Isaiah 6

Join us for these days of worship, encouraging one another, and hearing God’s call on our own lives. Our theme this year is “One Family” from Ephesians 3:14-21, “For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

As we gather together as the Family of God, we enjoy special music, guest speakers, and the joy of worshiping with brothers and sisters from around the world.

March 2nd-5th we welcomed over one hundred guests from around the globe for the 17th annual Heartland Missions Conference, as we reminded one another to be “Prepared for His Coming”. Our 15th annual Missions Conference was a call to “Rescue the Perishing”. The week started out with a video presentation by our TV department (click here to view).

The theme for this year’s conference was “Proclaiming His Excellencies” based on the passage found in 1 Peter 2:9. This theme was very fitting and appropriate as we basked in the goodness and greatness of God as displayed in the lives of our friends and guests from the four corners of the world. Men and women of God, true giants in the faith, gathered in Heartland for four days and shared stories, reports, challenges, and dreams of what God will do in their land in the future. Countries represented were the United States, India, Haiti, Moldova, Romania, Egypt, Mexico, Colombia, Israel, Brazil, Thailand, Sweden, the Philippines, and the West Bank.

It was a blessed time where new friendships were made and old friendships were strengthened. Most everyone played a role in the conference through sharing in day sessions, speaking in the corporate sessions, or praying and testifying to God’s love and mercy. Our main corporate speakers brought very timely words. Our dear friend Phil Paino from Fort Wayne, Indiana spoke on Sunday evening and made us laugh, cry, and hunger to know God. Heartland’s own missionary, Tass Abu Saada, shared on Monday evening and challenged us with what is possible if we dare to believe God.  We also had the privilege of having Pastor Jack Sara and Pastor Nihad Salmon, Palestinian pastors, lead us in wonderful Arabic worship on this night. Tuesday evening, long-time friend Victor Pavlovski brought forth a very good word on building and serving with excellence. The last evening corporate session on Wednesday was ministered by our own Pastor Charlie who spoke about the authority God has given us as believers to make disciples and live victorious lives. Through all the sessions, God was very faithful to use men and women to bring forth what He wanted us to hear.

As always, there was an abundance of delicious food and snacks consumed. Many of the conference attendees participated in a tour which found them petting baby goats, observing cows riding on a carousel, and learning to make cheese. One of the highlights was Heartland’s Christian school hosting a Missions Day. On this day, our international guests were assigned a classroom that was decorated representing their culture and also had food to taste. The children of the school were then able to visit each room and meet the missionaries and hear first-hand about what they were doing in their homeland. Each conference these same school children raise money to be donated to one of the ministries represented and this year the children raised over ten thousand dollars to be given to support the Christian school in Oaxaca, Mexico.

We thank God for His faithfulness and for the privilege of being able to host such wonderful men and women of God. We, as a Church, come away more blessed and having received way more than we give. We especially look forward to what God has in store with these relationships as we work together to see His kingdom extended in the earth.


The 2010 Mission Conference was one of the best for our church to date. The presence of God was so real to all in attendance and the words that came forth through all of the speakers were powerful and challenging. Friends and fellow-laborers from ten different countries came together to seek God’s face and to have their relationships with Him and one another taken to a greater depth. The conference’s underlying theme was unity and it is this author’s belief that the theme and purpose was accomplished.

The countries represented at this year’s conference were India, Haiti, Moldova, Philippines, Egypt, Mexico, Colombia, Israel, Brazil and the United States. It was wonderful to hear of the awesome things God is doing through these men and women of God in their local churches and ministries. Feeding programs for the poor and needy, educating students who otherwise would receive none, orphanages, bible colleges, rehab centers, new church plants, pastor’s conferences, evangelistic outreaches, women’s ministries, and practical helps like teaching sewing and construction are just some of the daily ministry that is being accomplished for the building up of people’s lives.

It is our desire, as a church, to support and lift the hands of these modern-day heroes of the faith. We pray on a regular basis that God would strengthen, empower, anoint, and encourage our brothers and sisters as they are serving on the front lines in their homeland, building His Church for the advancing of the Lord’s Kingdom.


The Missions Conference is always one of the highlights of our year here at Heartland, and this year’s conference was no exception. God is so good and faithful! The 2009 conference was held March 1-4 with guests in attendance from ten different countries. The theme for the gathering was “Prepared for Good Works” using the scripture found in Ephesians 2:10 as the main reference. It states “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” The understanding that God not only prepared our tasks ahead of time to accomplish His will, but that He also prepares, equips, and graces us to actually do them is powerful. The conference guests and the Heartland Church were inspired and encouraged by words spoken by Pastor Charlie and a variety of guest speakers throughout the week.

It was a wonderful time spent seeking God together, hearing His voice, worshipping, declaring His goodness, and fellowshipping with friends both old and new. Coming to Heartland for the very first time were Lesllieon Allan of India, Wahid Bebawy, Odette Bebawy, Atef Mikhail, and Ekbal Mikhail of Egypt, David and Karen Davis of Israel, Dave Cooper, Jeannie Cooper, and Max Wein of Florida, Jeruel Pino of Philippines, Don Maggard, Jean Maggard, Bob Black, Jerry Windsor, and Robin Parker of Colorado. God quickly joined their hearts to those who had been here before and new friendships and heart-ties were made.

The conference sessions consisted of outstanding teaching; practical roundtables; worship choirs made up of members from the men’s center, women’s center, high school, and our children; testimonials from changed lives; and preaching from seasoned men of God. We also had a wonderful Missions Day in the Heartland Christian Academy where guests from around the world dressed in their native attire and shared with our kids about their countries, and also shared some food from their culture. We were honored to end the Missions Day with an assembly in which Max Wein, an eighty-nine year old holocaust survivor, shared his life.

This conference truly was a wonderful time in the presence of God. We thank our many friends from around the world for coming, and we as a church are richer and more blessed for it. We look forward to future days of serving one another in each other’s churches and ministries to see the glory of God cover the earth as the waters cover the sea
